Abstract: We implemented a 124-hour AI human resource development training program from September to November 2020. The program was implemented in a HyFlex (hybrid-flexible course) format, with online participation available in addition to the two venues in Tokyo and Osaka. This course has three features. 1) The course uses Google Colaboratory, a cloud environment, and the curriculum can be taught in almost the same environment regardless of the PCs used by the organizer or the participants. 2) The curriculum covers a wide range of topics in a lecture and hands-on format over 124 hours, which will help students understand the basics and characteristics of AI and create new services and businesses by successfully combining existing libraries. 3) The HyFlex format enables learning that is not bound by physical constraints. Both students and instructors participated online, and live-streaming and communication tools such as Zoom, Moodle, Teams, and Slack were utilized to create an environment in which there was no difference between face-to-face and online participation.
