ID: 55488
Abstract: Creating effective faculty development programming generally entails navigating and adjusting existent university structures and resources, while creating and bringing to fruition new ideas and practices. To create and implement a new model for faculty development, the Center for Educational Innovation at the University at Buffalo utilized Kotter’s theory for change management model. We will detail the development of our faculty development program, and explain how we operationalized Kotter’s theory to implement this change within the university.
