Abstract: Educators in leadership are tasked with the challenge of promoting positive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) attitudes in students. Teachers who participate in effective professional learning opportunities related to technology integration could build learning environments conducive to achieving this goal (McDonald, 2016). Two researchers will discuss their investigations related to STEAM building through professional learning. In addition, participants will experience hands-on activities that lead them to practical applications for professional learning design. Presenters will discuss DuFour's Four Essential Questions and share a professional learning model they created using concepts learned from both research projects.
