Abstract: The use of social media in education is expanding globally and impacting the way students and faculty communicate in both face-to-face and online classrooms. In addition, to faculty-student relationships, social media is also influencing the means in which students collaborate with one another and encourage their peers as well as receive support throughout their educational journeys.
