Share Paper: How Digital, Interactive, and On-Demand Learning Effects Teacher Learning

Abstract: The purpose of this project was to understand how online, on-demand, and just-in-time learning can be applied to professional learning experiences for middle and high school teachers. Short, focused courses, called micro-courses, were developed to help teachers improve their understandings of how to support the literacy needs of their students. Each course was interactive and allowed teachers to share their ideas, receive feedback, and provide feedback to others as often as they wished.
