Abstract: Mobile technology use to support the learning of children and young people with disabilities has received much anecdotal support from parents and teachers alike. However, research to establish a solid evidence base is still in its infancy, and many of the existing studies employed single subject research designs. The Council for Exceptional Children has developed the Standards for Evidence-Based Practices in Special Education, quality indicators for studies, including those using single subject design methodology that that examine the effect a practice has on student outcomes and provide an evidence base.
