Abstract: While many students choose hybrid learning courses as their preferred course format, the findings from the existing literature have not yet consistently confirmed the effectiveness of the delivery method, if not the phenomenon of “no significant difference”, compared to other formats. At this point, it is necessary to address the question beyond the simple comparison of the delivery formats and to examine the potential factors that may predict student success in hybrid learning format. The findings from this exploratory study indicated that students' background variables as well as online assignments had statistically significant predictive values toward students’ success.
