Share Paper: Workshop Series to Facilitate Classroom Technology Integration for In-Service Elementary and High School Teachers

Abstract: Elementary and high school teachers are faced with challenges and limitations with technology integration in their classrooms. A series of six workshops were offered by schoolboard educational technology experts as professional development for their teachers. The six workshops covered the following themes: 1) two workshops on accessibility and tablets; 2) two workshops on beginner’s guide to Google Suites; 3) intermediate guide to Google Suites; and 4) introduction to media literacy. This paper presents quick findings from the workshops using a qualitative methodology.
