Abstract: We present a similar web-based student response system with enhanced function which we have named "uReply" uReply was developed at the Chinese University of Hong Kong with the purpose of facilitating interactions between teachers and students through the use of each student's mobile device uReply encourages students to immediately respond to questions asked by their teacher via their own internet-connected devices, such as smartphones, tablet PCs, or laptop computers This approach avoids much of the trouble and costs associated with providing and maintaining dedicated clicker hardware as all students can use their own devices uReply has been developed to allow teachers to either pre-set questions in the question bank, or create new questions easily on the spot Teachers also have the option to ask students to enter their names or student numbers, or to let students participate anonymously
