    University of Saskatchewan

Abstract: Plagiarism continues to be a growing problem on many higher education campuses There are many approaches to helping undergraduate students understand why to cite, when to cite and how to cite In this approach, one librarian created a series of short online video tutorials designed to teach undergraduate students the essentials of academic integrity, and the basics of citing different types of resources in APA citation style Once students complete a video tutorial, they are presented with a short multiple-choice quiz At the completion of the series, students then complete a short test This presentation will describe the development process in designing and developing this series of 7 short video tutorials and accompanying quizzes and tests using free video capturing software An example of the video tutorials, quizzes and test will be shared and discussed
