Abstract: The EdTech Efficacy Symposium was held in May 2017 in Washington, DC This symposium was the result of a year-long research project looking at how research is used for ed tech decision making in K-20 This talk will be a summary of the research findings and best practices for ed tech decision making in higher education The study found that institutions frequently pilot solutions and colleagues talk with one another to get input on solutions Little efficacy research is done due to the length of time required and the rapid pace of technology development This session will conclude with a ...
