Share Paper: Using ADDIE as an Instructional Approach to Faculty Development
Abstract: In the Fall of 2014, Instructional Designers at Texas State University piloted a new, hybrid sustained faculty development for instructors charged with or desirous to build online courses for their college students. Facilitators used a basic instructional design model, ADDIE, as a guide for first developing their own faculty development, and then as a guide for instructors to plan their online or hybrid courses.
