Abstract: This paper reports on the findings of a renal patient simulation conducted with undergraduate Pharmacy students. Data was captured by a series of reflective questions through the simulation and by means of an evaluative survey. Results indicate that students were motivated by the challenge and felt the task was achievable, even though some were not clear on what it involved at the outset. There was an overall sense of immersion and intrinsic interest in the simulation, fairness of the activity and most agreed it was valuable to their learning.
