Abstract: This study examines the impact of a TEC online conference on participants’ technology competence and as a model for preparing both students and educators to online instruction. The assumption of this study was that TEC online conference could contribute to online instruction competency. This case study was based on an online survey that was sent by e-mail to all registered participants asking about the conference’s influence on their willingness and readiness to adopt online instruction. The survey included questions about technological skills, pedagogical knowledge, and the emotional state in an online environment. The assumption was positively confirmed as the correlation results showed significant positive correlations between technology level and pedagogy knowledge and conference advantages and contribution while negatively associated with the stress levels.
