Abstract: Augmented reality (AR) is slowly finding its way to educational practice, but design and implementation still reflect affordances from other fields. While those approaches offer valuable knowledge on interaction, engagement and motivation benefits, it is time for educators to use augmented reality as a tool to enhance teaching and learning in a classroom environment.
