Abstract: This study investigated three different kinds of teacher trainings that aim to improve teachers’ self-efficacy in developing and implementing new teaching methods:differentiated instruction and the flipped classroom model. We found significant participant improvement in self-efficacies, which are the most powerful influence on receptivity to changing teaching methods with technology integration. Lessons that we learned from three-years of project experiences will be shared. Further, design concepts of teacher training in high-needs school districts with under-represented minority students will be discussed.
