Abstract: Technology proliferates a range of modes and media by which we communicate today. As an exemplar, social media provides a platform for people to express their ideas and experiences of the world through their creation and participation. Internationally, there is a burgeoning demand and supply of digital stories; in part due to the ease of access to technology, but more importantly, these digital stories contain the latent, yet powerful ability in advocating causes and influencing people.
