Abstract: Abstract: An increasing number of higher education students experience stress. Some of the most important sources of stress are fear of examinations, lack of study skills, and failing ability to cope with an overwhelming workload. Stress and anxiety have been known to cause lower performance and inexpedient study strategies. The aim of this project was to develop a counselling solution in a personalized learning environment. Data to test this solution was collected from students with a questionnaire regarding their self-reported study behaviour. Over 20 pieces of study skill advice were tested in focus groups and online.
