Abstract: With the increasing importance of data in many areas of daily life, schools and universities face the challenge of imparting not only information technology, but also data literacy as one of the key future skills. This also includes the basic competence to deal with data in a planned manner, to consciously use it in the respective context and, above all, to deal with data quality. We have developed a practical approach that encourages students to explore much of the aspects of data literacy through real experiments.
