Abstract: Organizations, both in academia and the workplace, include individuals belonging to different generational groups. These groups include those that come from a large range of ages and backgrounds, who have developed different values and patterns of behavior, based on the experiences they lived through and the environment that influenced their development. When members from these groups coexist within one organization, the differences in those beliefs and backgrounds can cause issues because of the different experiences growing up, causing understandable variance between each group’s values and belief systems.
