Abstract: A design workshop is adopted for the education of IT engineering students, in order to not only develop products conforming to required specifications, but also to be able to design proposal type products based on a user's request. Students acquire the design skill by finding and solving problems in the field. Many students did not vary or diversify their ideas during workshops. We developed a method that allows IT engineering students to expand their ideas. In particular, this method helps students realize and develop future technologies from science fiction in workshops.
