Abstract: While there are pedagogical recommendations for implementing digital citizenship education in schools, and limited empirical studies that address digital citizenship curricula in schools; research exploring stakeholders’ experiences of an integrated and continuing educative approach to DC curriculum in schools is rare. This research explored how students, teachers and leaders of an Australian secondary school experience a curriculum that integrates digital citizenship teaching and learning opportunities. In the study, digital citizenship refers to the rights and responsibilities associated with online conduct. The research confirms the appropriateness of integrating digital citizenship with all aspects of the contemporary curriculum, and argues for government leadership concerning the integration of digital citizenship and education priorities in Australian schools.
