Abstract: The CreativeLab_Sci&Math is a didactic approach of the Department of Mathematical and Natural Sciences of the School of Education of Santarém that focuses on initial and continuous teacher education through innovative teaching practices in Mathematics and Physical-Natural Sciences and technology-rich learning environments. Some activities are implemented in the CreativeLab_Sci&Math learning environment with the presence of a Mathematics and a Science teacher with the intention to develop students´ scientific, technical and technological knowledge, critical and creative reasoning, and problem-solving skills through their involvement in interdisciplinary tasks that relate the contents and processes of knowledge construction of the two areas. The CreativeLab_Sci&Math learning environment approach allow us to construct a teacher learning community, increase our professional development, and share our approach and didactic activities with other teachers.
