Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the principles of Design-based Learning (DBL) in order to understand the engineering design for facilitating the activation of engineering education in Korea. It also investigates the gender awareness perspective from the view of cultural diversity so as to enhance the creativity and innovation in the engineering field.
