Abstract: This treatise will address the personal and professional liability concerns that educators who teach in online environments, based out of the USA, may encounter. Under HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, FERPA, and 38 U.S. Code ยง 7332, there are numerous privacy laws and regulations issues that may impact the delivery of educational content, at a distance, across a wide variety of disciplines.
