Abstract: Virtual reality is used in a variety of educational environments -- military, aviation, etc. This project combines virtual reality with adaptive and branching scenarios, which provides unique learning experiences for students. Depending on students’ selections, they are given multiple scenarios to practice different techniques. Specifically, this project transforms traditional social work curriculum into a virtual reality simulation that adapts to each student’s individual performance. Based on a student’s answers, the simulation adapts using a predetermined branching tree, which then selects the next question or scenario for students.
