Abstract: In 2012 Penn State decided, after an extensive evaluation, to continue using Blackboard’s Angel 8.0 as their learning management system (“Blackboard blogs”, 2012). The purpose of the presentation will be to describe the Blackboard mobile application pilot test at Penn State University. In the Spring of 2013 Penn State plans to pilot test Blackboard Mobile Learn. At the present time there is no documentation or plans created for the pilot test. This paper will show what may be presented based upon a hypothetical plan. It will only focus on learning and course design, rather than infrastructure and technical aspects. However the actual plan and data results will be presented in full at the EdMedia conference this summer. Items to be presented • Integration plan • Training required • Results of student surveys, and focus groups • Results of faculty surveys, and focus groups
